The Association was founded in 2004 by a small group of 22 women, and has currently more than 350 women members from 20 communities of mountainous Larnaca. The purposes of the Association are: To promote entrepreneurship of its members To promote and maintain the tradition Participate in European programs, Community initiatives and programs to combat social exclusion and actions promoting equal opportunities for both sexes Develop volunteering To participate in companies or entities that promote the development and transnational cooperation as well as development partnerships that promote the purposes of the association.
