The Rural Eco-Innovation Project (REP) is a newly formed company founded in 2014 and aims to provide high quality innovative products and services. Inspired by the modern trend of crowd funding and based on the principles of cooperatives it has been set up against these difficult times, promoting cooperation, teamwork and joint efforts for a better future.
The main development pillars are: the achievement of innovative ideas, the development of commercial activities and consultancy. Primary concern and key objective is to support Cypriot scientists, with proper equipment and knowledge, so that the achievement of their ideas and goals becomes more realistic in terms of transforming these ideas into innovative products. At the same time, REP is ready to come to an agreement with anyone who can offer ready innovative products either for production by the company or for resale, with terms that are favorable for both sides. REP aims to become a connection link of cooperation between scientists paving thus the way to fulfilment and joint success. Recognizing these difficult times, it is not a figure of speech investing in people, so anyone can become a member and an equal shareholder (one man – one vote in the General Assembly) in REP with a small amount, but enough to create a solid financial basis.
