Sword & Plough is a socially conscious brand that works with American manufacturers who employ veterans. The company recycles military surplus, incorporates that fabric into stylish bag designs and donates 10% of profits back to veteran organizations. Since the bags are made from military fabric, they are build to last and are “rugged, refined, and relevant.” Their mission is to

  • empower veteran employment, by working with companies and non-profit organizations that employ veterans, and ask partners to scale by hiring veterans to meet the growing demand for S&P products.
  • reduce waste, recycle thousands of pounds of military surplus that would otherwise be wasted and incorporate the fabric into the design whenever possible.
  • strengthen civil-military understanding, to emotionally and physically touch civilians in their everyday lives. To remind them, in a beautiful way, of the challenges veterans face, and the power that every person has to help.
