Shared Interest Society forms the link between UK social investors and fair trade organisations needing finance to improve their livelihoods. Their mission is to provide financial services and business support to make livelihoods and living standards better for people as they trade their way out of poverty.
They work collaboratively and innovatively with those who share their commitment to fair and just trade. With a community of investors and the support of donors and volunteers, they seek to contribute to a world where justice is at the heart of fair trade finance. Shared Interest has partners across a variety of sectors including, fair trade, co-operatives and social finance and we value the diversity and multiple connections this enables us to have. As the partners cover all aspects of the organisation they also cover all parts of the world with partners at local, regional, national and international levels.
